Yesterday was Miller's four-month doctor's appointment. It went GREAT! We were glad to hear that his breathing sounded good and clear...it was the first time we have heard this in a while! It is such a relief to all of us to know that our little man is healthy. We have prayed so much for him to stay that way, and we continue to pray for that! He is also growing fast! Our little Miller-chunk weighed 15 pounds and 5.5 ounces at his appointment yesterday and was 24 1/2 inches long--the fiftieth percentile for both. Wow! What a leap from four months ago! The doctor also switched his formula yesterday in hopes that it will agree better with his little tummy. I hope it works! We love our Bubba so much and are very happy that his doctor's appointment went well!
Maggie also provided some excitement yesterday. :) At Miller's doctor visit, Maggie wanted to be the center of attention (surprise, anyone?). When the doctor listened to Miller's breathing, Maggie pulled up her dress and patted her tummy, saying, "Mines! Me!" However, this attitude came to a FAST halt when she saw the nurse walk in with the needles for Miller's immunizations. She then wanted to go out to the car with Daddy. :) (Miller, by the way, was SUCH a big boy and only cried for a minute when he got poked with the needles.) When we got home from church last night, Maggie had prepared a surprise for us. The night before, she had collected all of her yellow alphabet puzzle pieces and put them in her pants pockets. When Jeff was switching clothes from the washer to the dryer, he said, "Umm, any particular reason why we washed three of Maggie's alphabet letters?" I guess we didn't realize they were still in the pockets when the pants went into the laundry pile. ;) As it turns out, the three letters were A, T, and E, as in, the washing machine ATE Maggie's letters. (I know, I'm extremely funny.)
In any case, we had a great and entertaining day yesterday, and I'm sure today will be no different!!! :)
