Reminiscing

I am trying to catch up on our digital scrapbooking and have been looking through the kids' baby pictures for a few days. I came across this video tonight...This was when Mags was six months old and was just learning to push up on her hands and knees and crawl. I can't believe this was four years ago. Isn't it crazy how time flies?

Maggie's Fears

Perhaps I should send Maggie to school with a disclaimer about her paranoia. She came home the day the policeman visited last week and said that if I didn't slow down my driving, the policeman was going to pull me over, spray me with pepper spray, handcuff my hands and feet, and take me to jail. I assured her I have never sped in my life. She wasn't convinced.

Today the dentist visited her school...Mags has informed me that I am to stop feeding her sweets, or her teeth are going to be green and have holes in them. She told me that Alex had had a banana for snack today, and that bananas were good for your teeth. She didn't think the Special K chocolate bar I sent her for snack was good for her teeth. She listed several foods that we eat and said we need to stop eating them.

The fireman was supposed to visit her school this week, too, and he didn't, because "he had to go fight a fire very far away," so I took the kids to the fire station on the way home to see the firetrucks. Mags told me in front of the firemen that they were "scary like dinosaurs." They got quite the laugh out of it, but I feel like we owe them some cookies or something.

Watch out for those scary policemen, firemen, and dentists...(Maggie is busy right now drinking her ice water and just asked if she could brush her teeth).

Yum, yum...

Our two silly children eating their favorite non-candy food: corn on the cob. Why they refuse to sit down at mealtime is a mystery to me. Jeff and I don't stand in the chairs to eat...

Around the Norris house lately...

Here are some pictures from the past few weeks...
Maggie could not STAND for Christmas to be over, so she has been decorating the house with Christmas stickers. :-) And yes, my fireplace needs to be dusted. Yikes!
Miller sneaking some of the Santa cake Pop and Yaya brought us (He is JUST like his mama...)
The three stooges (Miller, Maggie, and our neighbor Colby) watching for snow the day after Christmas
