Miller's Birthday Party!

Miller's second birthday party was on Saturday. DEFINITELY memorable. :-) The funny first...The balloons flew away within five minutes of being tied to the pavilion; the Mickey Mouse ears melted off the cupcakes just as quickly; and we found out that I'm not good at using the value size ketchup and mustard bottles. But we were surrounded by family and friends that we love, and we had a wonderful time celebrating the birthday of a very special little guy. Miller, by the way, LOVED all the Mickey Mouse-themed food, music, etc.

We're so appreciative of our family and friends who helped out with the party. Jeff's dad grilled the hot dogs for us; my parents hauled all the stuff to the park; and our friends Scott and Margaret got there early to help us set things up. The night before the party, some of our neighbors came over to help us make the Mickey cupcakes and cookies. LOTS of laughs were had. :-) Jeff and I are so blessed to have family and friends who were willing to help us out. What a wonderful weekend full of laughter and celebration! Miller's 2nd Birthday!

Our sweet Miller turned two today! Time SURELY flies. As I was putting him down for his nap, I realized it was the exact time he was born two years ago. I hugged him extra tight and thanked God for our precious little boy. What a BLESSING he is to our family. Here are a few pictures from Miller's birthday. Two Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed

I was cleaning up from lunch yesterday and heard a good bit of commotion. Found this. (Oh, Maggie makes the beds every morning. Sometimes she helps me, and sometimes she asks to make them all by herself. It is a rare occasion that she will allow Miller to move a pillow out of place.) :-)

First Day of Preschool!

Today was Maggie's first day of preschool! All the way there, she sang, "I'm goin' to school. Mommy and Miller are goin' home. It's gonna be a great day!" I have to admit I teared up when I dropped her off. We went through the carpool line, and she hopped out of the car and didn't even look back! The moment was bittersweet; I can't believe she's such a big girl, but it made me happy to see her so excited about school.

When she got back in the car after school, I asked her if she had a good day, and she said, "YES!" I asked her what all she did, and she said, "I don't ma-member." Once I started asking her questions, she talked non-stop. She already wants to know when she can go back. Here are some pictures of Maggie on her first day of preschool!

Baby Camden!

My sister Ellen and her husband Steve welcomed their new baby, Camden Sawyer Bryson, this past Thursday. He is perfect and has a head full of jet black hair. Here are a few pics...More soon!
