Forts

I took Miller for a walk around the block tonight and came home to this:

Maggie and Daddy had some serious fun while we were on our ten-minute walk! :-)

Preschool!

Today wasn't technically Maggie's first day of preschool...That's next Tuesday. But we had a parent meeting today, and the kids all got to go and play in their classrooms for about an hour. Maggie insisted on taking her backpack. :-) She LOVED going today and is super excited about school. She ran into the classroom and didn't look back. I had mixed feelings; I'm really excited about Maggie loving school, but I'm not sure how she's gotten from this...

to this...

SO FAST. We love our little girl and can't wait to see what a great "school year" this will be.

Night Night!

One of my favorite times each day is when Miller says "night night" to us. Maggie absolutely canNOT go to bed if Miller hasn't given her a hug, kiss, and "night night."

Maggie's Bible Story

We enjoy asking Maggie about her Sunday School lessons. We love hearing her retell the stories (even if we have to ask tons of questions and pry the answers out of her...). :-)

Hey to Grandparents!

Our Little Mess-Makers

Yep, that's right. Maggie Mess and Miller Mess. Check out some of the trouble they've gotten into over the past two days.
Miller getting into the "keep away from Miller" bowl

Miller dragged the rocking chair up to the computer, brought his 5-lb. jug of animal crackers, and said, "Mickey!" He loves to watch Mickey on youtube.

While I was making lunch, Miller browsed through the pantry and picked out some snacks. I find him here a lot.

Not to be outdone, Maggie rubbed Oreo cookie all over her face.

But are they not the sweetest things? We love our little mess-makers and don't know what we'd do without them.

My Sweet Boy

Miller will be TWO in about three weeks. It blows my mind how fast he has turned from a baby into a little boy. He is such a sweetheart and keeps us constantly laughing. Some of my favorite things about him are his hugs, his "cuddles" every night before bed, his quiet sense of humor (If you know him, you know what I mean), and his smile. I can't see him smile and not be happy. We are so thankful for Miller and the sweet little boy he's becoming.
