Okay, so he did see some snow last year, but he doesn't remember it...

For Maggie's "Grandpawents" :-)
Yes, Maggie has gloves that match. Yes, she wanted to wear one of each. No, I did not argue. :-)

Maggie's Semi-Newly Painted Room
I have to brag on my husband, who is super-creative and a star wall-painter (neither of which I am). He repainted part of Maggie's room this past week, and she now has stripes on one of her walls. You'll see in one of the pictures that we are trying to START teaching Maggie to identify letters and letter sounds. When I asked her if she wanted to learn how to read, she said, "No! I want you to read to me, Mommy!" We'll see how this letter-learning goes. :-) Hope everyone is having a great Sunday!

I Heart Glasses
Ever since neighbor Colby has started wearing his glasses again, Maggie has been obsessed with glasses and has begged for a pair. (May have something to do with the fact that Colby is pretty precious in his glasses!) Well, her wish came true today. She got a sweet Valentine's package in the mail with not one, but FOUR pairs of glasses. She has been wearing one pair and carrying at least one more pair around all night. Here's a picture of Miss Mags in a pair of her new glasses.

Playground Trip
We took a fun trip to the playground today with Jessica and Lane. The kids were so happy to be outside (Mommy was, too)! I took the camera with hopes of getting Miller and Lane in some pictures together, but those two won't stay still long enough at the same time to take a picture. Maybe when they're a little older we can document their early friendship days via photograph. :-) Hope everyone is having a great Groundhog Day!

No Sugar Bugs!
Maggie went for her second dental check-up today (first one was this past summer), and she didn't have any "sugar bugs" (cavities)! I'm not surprised. Girl is pretty obsessed with brushing her teeth. :-) The appointment was SO quick. We got there at 9:50 and were walking out the door at 10:06. Maggie has had two very positive dental check-up experiences, and I am so thankful that she LIKES to go to the dentist. My sweet friend Becky kept Miller this morning, but he'll get to go with us next time for his first check-up. He's got a mouthful of teeth! When Maggie was his age, she had half as many teeth as he does. Okay, enough blogging about teeth. Good day. No sugar bugs. Until next time...
